Rev. Dr. M. Becky Burton, Pastor BBurton@peacememorial.org
The Rev. Dr. M. Rebecca "Becky" Burton, Peace Memorial Presbyterian's first female pastor and head of staff, is a fourth generation Floridian, born in Miami. Prior to her call to Peace Memorial in late 2006, Pastor Becky served several churches in Atlanta, Georgia for more than 10 years, including our denomination's largest church, Peachtree, as an associate pastor. She is a graduate of Columbia Theological Seminary where she holds both the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees.
A second career pastor, she served in a variety of executive capacities in United Way organizations and other human service agencies before entering the ministry. She is a graduate of Western Carolina University and Appalachian State University where she received her bachelor and master's degrees in political science respectively.
Deeply committed to sharing Christ's call to love God and neighbor, Pastor Becky has helped her congregations develop faith partnerships locally and throughout the world. She continues that work today through her preaching, teaching and leadership with the congregation at Peace Memorial

Carol Alexander, Music Director CAlexander@peacememorial.org
Carol holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory and a Master of Music in Choral Directing from the University of South Florida. Ms. Alexander appears frequently as a recitalist in the Tampa Bay area on piano, organ, harpsichord and fortepiano. From 1980-2005, she was Music Director at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dunedin, Florida. She also directed a community choir, The Shepherd Chorale, who performed in the Tampa Bay area as well as traveling to Austria, Scotland, Washington, D.C. (the National Cathedral) and Williamsburg, Virginia. She is the founder of Chamber Music on the Beach, as well as “Go for Baroque”, a local Early Music Festival. She enjoys attending summer workshops in Choral Directing, Organ, Harpsichord and Early Music, and living on Clearwater Beach.

Regina Marciano, Youth Director RMarciano@peacememorial.org
Regina has been a Missionary with ten years of experience in Ministry among the Presbyterian Churches in Brazil, working with creative ministry, youth and teens.
In 2005, she was invited by the Presbytery of Tampa Bay to come to the USA and worked for three years as an Evangelist/Mission Coordinator for Igreja Presbyteriana Nova Vida, a New Church Development project that was initiated by the Presbytery of Tampa Bay in May of 2002 to reach out to Brazilians and Portuguese-speaking people in the Tampa Bay area.
She received a degree in Fine Arts Education from the State University of Londrina, Brazil. She also received a B.S. in Theology from Londrina Bible Institute. After finishing her studies, she underwent five years of training and service with Operation Mobilization which included practical work, Bible study, evangelism and cross-cultural exposure, while living and working on board the ships MV Doulos and Logos II.
Her vision is to develop and build a strong new generation committed to God and His Kingdom.

Gary came to us from Ridgefield, CT. Born and raised in that area he, along with his wife, Laurie and two grown children, Gary, Jr. and Kimberly, relocated to this area in October 2006. They have many family members residing here.
Gary was Maintenance/Security Director at Ridgefield Academy, a private Kindergarten - 8th Grade Day School with two pre-schools in neighboring towns. At Ridgefield Academy, Gary developed his background in facilities management. Prior to that, he was employed in the residential and commercial construction trade. |

Dorris Folwell, Wedding Coordinator dnave@tampabay.rr.com
Dorris, Wedding Coordinator, has been a member of Peace Memorial since 1978 and, as an elder, served as chairperson of the Worship Council. The council started the current policies and procedures for weddings in May 1995. The Worship Council and Session have changed and updated the procedures when necessary since.
Mrs. Folwell is a member of several heritage societies and takes notice of their protocol and processions which she applies to the wedding worship service. She is receptive to new ways of doing the settled etiquette of weddings. She takes special care to make sure that the entire family and wedding party of the bride and groom-to-be are comfortable in their roles in the service of marriage. |

Our Sexton, Charles Tagoe is a 26 year old man, born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. He is the middle child of four siblings. He is currently attending St. Petersburg College, majoring in pre-med; his life career goal is to become a doctor.
