Opportunities to Worship
service of Worship - July 6 at 10:30 a.m. 4th Sunday after Pentecost. Rev. Bob Scott will lead worship. Lectionary Text: Genesis 24:34-38, 42-49, 58-67; Psalm 45:10-17 or Song of Solomon 2:8-13; Romans 7:15-25a; Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30. Communion will be served.
Service of Worship - July 13 at 10:30 a.m. 5th Sunday after Pentecost Rev. Bob Scott will lead worship. Lectionary Text: Genesis 25:19-34; Psalm 119:105-112; Romans 8:1-11; Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23.
Service of Worship - July 20 at 10:30 a.m. 6th Sunday after Pentecost. Rev Bob Scott will lead worship. Lectionary Text: Genesis 28:10-19a; Psalm 139:1-12, 23-24; Romans 8:12-25; Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43.

Walking Group. We will meet every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. throughout the summer. Join us for an evening walk and catch the gorgeous sunset!
Peace Pals Old Fashion Ice Cream Social, Friday, July 25. Peace Pals invites the Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church Family and Friends to an Old Fashion Ice Cream Social. Come One! Come All! Bring a freind! Sign up in the Roebling Hall.
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) - Thursday, July 17 at 10:30 a.m. Scopes Monkey Trial. (Riet Van der Pol).
Opportunities To Serve
Peace Café, Thursday Evenings. Consider volunteering with this outreach program that feeds the local hungry a warm meal. Servers needed the first three Thursdays of the month. (Bill Trautwein, 727.463.6916)
RCS Food Bank. Continue to drop off your donations of non-perishable food items in any of the baskets located throughout the church. Everyday household items and toiletries are also accepted as donations.
Pack-a-Sack. Concludes another successful year of providing meals to hungry children. Thanks for all who have donated both time and money. Prayerfully consider how you can be involved this upcoming Fall. (Carlos Rodriquez)
Opportunities to Grow
Men’s Bible Study - Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. Men’s small group study. (Dan Johnson).
Early Bird Bible Study will resume in September.
Children’s Enrichment. Children gather following the Children’s Message to enrich their worship experience in ways that are meaningful to this particular age group. We offer two classes—for children ages 3-7 and children ages 8-12. Adult helpers are needed for both age groups. (Kelly Fitzgerald)
Nursery Storytellers. Share a few minutes of your time on Sunday morning as worship begins to read a story to our youngest disciples in the nursery. (Scarlett Meyer coordinates readers)
Sunday School for All. Classes begin around 9:00 a.m.
Other classes resume in September.
Intergenerational Bible Study—Disciples of all ages are invited to join us in Roebling Hall for a summer study of the lectionary passages using art, media, and drama.
Nursery Care—professional care for our youngest disciples.
Mid-High Mid-Week - every Wednesday at 6:00 pm. 6-12th graders are invited to join us for a time of hanging out and a short Bible Study. Make the commitment to spend your summer with Peace. Dinner will be provided, bring a few dollars for a donation. Pick up at 8:00 pm.
Youth Mission Trip - Beth-El and Cedarkirk, July 12-17. 6-12th graders are invited to attend this impactful week at camp. With the youth from Trinity Presbyterian we will lead a week of VBS to over 70 farmworker children from the Beth-El Community. Youth will stay at Cedarkirk Camp and have the opportunity to enjoy several camp activities during the afternoons and evenings. (Kelly Fitzgerald)
Music, Art, and Drama Camp will be held August 4-8, 2014. Registration is now open. Forms available on line and in the church office. Visit the church website to sign up to volunteer or donate goods. Many volunteers are needed to make this event a success! Children will lead worship on August 10. (Kelly Fitzgerald)

Summer Church Hours. Church Office is open Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Office is officially closed on Friday, but pastoral staff is still available. Please use cell phone numbers to contact staff.
