Music ministry at Peace Memorial seeks to honor God through inspirational music provided by the soaring notes of the mighty Casavant organ, the Chancel Choir, the Children’s Choir, the Peace Ringer’s Bell Choir, and the Youth Praise Band. Our music programming depends on volunteers who wish to dedicate their time and talents to Almighty God through their active and enthusiastic participation. Outreach involves sharing our excellent musical heritage with the community through the Peace Memorial Concert Series. Professional instrumental and vocal groups as well as our own chancel choir perform in concert throughout the year. The Casavant pipe organ has over 3,000 pipes. The smallest is the size of a pencil; the largest is 32 feet tall. Built in 1975, its tonal design encompasses the traditional sounds of the Baroque organ of 17th century Germany and the Romantic organ of 19th Century France. A unique feature of the instrument is the Trumpet En Chamade, mounted over the choir loft.
