Food for Thought is a Thursday night dinner and discussion series held on the second week of the month at 6 pm in our Fellowship Hall. Every event will feature a different topic and guest in aim to empower and enhance the local community. Contact Pastor Dawn Haeger at 727-446-3001 with any questions. We hope to see you!

January 11 -  Topic: The Dangers of Human Trafficking

Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking will share information about the world-wide problem of modern day slavery and how Florida has been identified as a hub of this illegal activity. 



February 8 - Topic: The Politics of Geography

Dr. Paul Herr, Ph. D., member of Peace Memorial and retired college professor will discuss how politics influence geographical boundaries from school districts to international policy.

April 12 -  Topic: It's Time to Make a Decision - Health Care Advance Directives

Dr. Deborah Humphrey, D.O., is a board-certified internist and certified palliative care and hospice specialist. She will discuss the importance of advance directives and how these documents can help ensure your medical decisions will be respected by your family and physicians.

May 10 -  Topic: Spiritual Practices Aren't Just for Adults

Join Christian educators, Rev. Kathi Trautwein and Rev. Dawn Haeger, as they discuss ways to assist your child grow in his or her faith. Examples of materials and practices will be provided.
