Concert Series

Music is a rich part of the heritage of Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Music inspires and uplifts us, causes us to look within ourselves, as well as those around us, and the shared experience brings us closer together.
Blessed with an historic building, vibrant stained glass windows, a magnificent pipe organ and concert grand piano and excellent acoustics, this church is committed to sharing the joy and beauty of these gifts with the community.
This concert series is not a series of sacred music. Rather, it is one way Peace Memorial seeks to give back to our community: by sharing performances of quality music of all genres. This church is part of the cultural history and experience of downtown Clearwater. We welcome and invite you to join us for an afternoon of music.
Please join us in Peace Memorial’s historic sanctuary for the next concert.
Concerts are held at 3:00 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month (unless otherwise noted). Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. No tickets are required, but an offering will be taken. We kindly suggest a minimum donation of $5 to support future concerts. A light reception follows in Roebling Fellowship Hall. The 2013/2014 Concert Series April 13.
"Faure' Requiem" For the final concert of the Peace Memorial Concert Series this season, you will hear Faure' masterpiece oratoria with chamber orchestra and organ. Complementing this featured work will be other gems of the French repertoire such as Cesar Frank's Panis Angelicus plus other works by Faure' and Maurice Durufle'. Presented on Palm Sunday, this program will be an ideal musical introduction to Holy Week and the selections are well suited for the fine acoustics of Peace Memorial's sanctuary.
