Peace Cafe + Local Outreach
The ministries of Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church are primarily coordinated by the church's deacons, and are a visible expression of God's love , and an extension of God's love into the world.
Peace Cafe
We serve a warm meal to our hungry neighbors on Thursdays at 5:30 pm at First United Methodist Church. Many outside groups come to volunteer but hosts from our congregation are still needed. The first and second Thursdays are when we really need help. Contact Dan Johnson about adding your name to the list of servants.
ADDITIONAL MEALS SERVED
SUNDAYS AT 4:00 PM - St. Paul's United Methodist Homeless Ministries at Peace Cafe
MONDAYS AT 5:30 PM - Joy of the Gospels Ministries at First United Methodist Church
Pack-A-Sack
Please help feed hungry children! Did you know that 24% of the children in Pinellas County are “food insecure”? Did you know that 91.7% of the students at Belleair Elementary are on free reduced lunch? It costs approximately $4 per sack to feed a child each weekend or $128 for one school year. If we have sufficient funding we hope to serve even more children. Please make a donation to Pack-A-Sack. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.
